Our Instrument

Carolina Bronze performs on five octaves of Malmark handbells and seven octaves of Malmark choirchimes. On occasion we will borrow some extra bass bells. The handbells are cast bronze, the choirchimes are made from aluminum as well as the extra bass bells.

Our ringers come from many upstate communities. Most are versatile musicians and active in other church, community, and professional groups.

Our Ringers

Our Beginning

Carolina Bronze was started in the fall of 2000 by a group of directors and advanced ringers who were seeking a challenging ringing experience. The group has grown both musically and in talent. We have some of the most dedicated and best handbell ringers from the upstate.
